A Shotton boy with Cerebral Palsy
Will, a young boy from Shotton, Flintshire has Cerebral Palsy and currently walks with a Kaye Walker, but unfortunately due to the nature of his condition, the mobility he has will reduce as he grows and the spasticity or stiffness increases. By going to St Louis Children Hospital for this operation, we are stopping that happening, meaning he will be more mobile for longer. We are tirelessly fundraising to raise £50,000 (currently raised £14,150) for an operation available only in America (St louis Hospital) to straighten his spine allowing him to become more mobile and improving his quality of life immensely.

Many parents choose a childminder as they would like their child to be cared for in a home environment. My home is warm, friendly and welcoming to children with daily routines similar to your own at home with maybe a little more play! After all childminding is my chosen occupation and no other work or duties are carried out whilst children are in my care.
I firmly believe in, and have the ability to, provide warm and consistent care. Every child has the right to be cared for, loved and respected equally regardless of their ethnic, cultural or religious beliefs. All children are individuals and will be treated with equal concern.
Having had experience of placing my own child in the care of a childminder, I feel I have a great understanding of your need, as a parent to be involved in, and to be kept informed with, all aspects of your child’s daily care and routine.
